This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-12 school setting, working with students ranging from 6th to 12th grade. The role is based in Summerville, SC, focusing on delivering speech and language support aligned with educational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively within school hours.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Position is contract-based for the current school year (CSY).
- Typical hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Location: Hanahan Middle / High School, SC.
